About Nifty

“Nifty” is an eye catching sorrel gelding that is as chromed up as they come. Four white matching stockings and a cool marked blaze face. Nifty has primarily been used as a trail horse but also rides very nice in the arena as well. He has been hauled to county parks across Iowa to trail ride throughout his life. He is point and go on the trails, one hand neck reins, and doesn’t mind if he’s first or last. Stands tied to a hitching rail or trailer on over night camping trips without a fuss. Nifty is the type of gelding that doesn’t need ridden everyday to stay broke, snag him out of the pasture on any given day and go for a leisure ride. He has heavy bone and foot and has never required a set of shoes in his life. We bought this gelding off of the family that bred and raised him, we are his second owner.
